Altiris - Scripted teaming of Intel Pro NICs
Preparation:
On a system that has had it's NICs teamed correctly (manually) with the Intel PROset software, you will need to copy SavRes.vbs* to a location on a local drive (c:\temp\SavRes.vbs).From within a command shell issue the following commands:

cd \temp
SavRes.vbs save teamed.txt
Once this has run, you should save SavRes.vbs and teamed.txt to your DS (\\<DSName>\eXpress\deploy\cfg\proset\) for deployment to other servers.
Deployment:
Prerequisite - PROset must be already installed. See Installing PROset
for more information.Prerequisite - There must be as many compatible Intel NICs installed in the target system as were configured on the configuration source system.
- Create a 'Copy Files' task, copying the directory (created in the preparation phase above) containing SavRes.vbs and teamed.txt to c:\temp\cfg\proset.
- Create a 'Run Script' task with the following content:

cd \temp\cfg\proset
cscript SavRes.vbs restore teamed.txt
Once this script runs on the target system, the aclient will temporarily lose connection as the team is created, but should reconnect automatically after 30-60 seconds. A reboot is not required.
*SavRes.vbs should be included in the same download that PROset was obtained from. If you don't have access to this, I reccommend that you download the correct version of the drivers with PROset included (Base Drivers + PROset) from Intel.com.
