ESVA/Exchange sesions not terminating

I recently upgraded to ESVA version 2, and after a period of time, my Exchange server would deny connections. It turns out current sessions between my ESVA and Exchange boxes do not terminate. I never had this problem with ESVA 1.7. Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening, and what I can do to resolve it? My exchange settings are set to 400 max connections and the session timeout is set to 2 minutes.

default timeout is 300sec for smtp sessions but if you use tls the timeout is 3600sec (default values)
